NAN Electrode System
New Drive Components

Description

The NAN Electrode Drive is a modular, lightweight extracellular microelectrode drive that uses individual towers to independently position each electrode within a grid in the XY plane. Additional information is available on the NAN drive product page.

NAN Instruments released an array of new adaptors for precise electrode positioning at Neuroscience 2006. The adaptors provide the means to locate the elctrode with a hig degree of precision.

Four-Channel Base - This is a two piece system provides expanded flexibility via its multi-purpose design, which allows it to be used either with or without the cms.

Tower - This tower is very similar to the original tower but unlike the original, the height is not standard. It can be configured for the specific researcher's requirements.

RTBL-CMS - Two degree of freedom rotation table with course movement system

DRTBL-CMS - Two independent systems, each with a two-degree, free rotation table and coarse movement system, configured for independent positioning of eight electrodes in two different brain areas.
Oval-Chamber system/double four channels system
Stereotactic frame mounted system
