Dallas, Texas – Plexon, Inc., the industry
leading developer of instrumentation for neural data acquisition
and analysis, has been named to the Texas Crescent Technology Fast
50 as well as the North America Fast 500 by Deloitte & Touche
USA LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional services
firms. Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year
revenues over five years, from 1999-2003.
Harvey Wiggins, Plexon’s founder and president, credits a
successful market expansion into Japan and China and increased customer
demand worldwide with the company’s 341 percent revenue growth
from 1999-2003. “Recognition of our accomplishments in Deloitte & Touche’s
prestigious programs is an honor,” said Wiggins. “The
Plexon team has worked diligently to grow the company over the last
five years, and these awards are a testament to their tremendous
efforts.”
Plexon’s increase in revenues of 341
percent from 1999 to 2003 resulted in a 32nd ranking overall in
the Texas Crescent Fast 50 and a 480th ranking overall in the North
America Fast 500.
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies
